What is a .tif file mean, how is it different from other files. How to open them in Photoshop and, how to use them.

Sorry, but i have never heard of it.
Strange, Would be nice if someone knew.
i think they are the saves of a C4D because i downloaded a c4d and they where all tif files
my photoshop can open them (i got cs2)

yeah Cs2 opens .tif files, dunno what they are though

TIFF is a flexible and adaptable file format. It can handle multiple images and data in a single file through the inclusion of "tags" in the file header
it's nothing different than regular images ;S
