How do I make clouds?

i don't think its possible to smudge realistic clouds, or if it is, its very hard to do.

some people use brushes other people use pictures that have clouds in them and add them into their piece of work.

i haven't really made clouds before, but i guess my smudge one was, but it wasn't very effective xD

Smudge would be your best bet. Depends on how you do it and what you actually smudge.

What kind of clouds do you mean, if its like the thing in the bottom of my sig, it's smudge, with Rolfo's settings (you can get to his smudge tut through his rep, its easier I find :D

Mayby you should use the basic Cloud filter that is in every photoshop edition since photoshop 3

Use stocks. Nothing beats the real thing. :D

Anyway, Resurgere on deviantART has beautiful stock packages of clouds.

Try to use different colours from black to white and smudge them... Its not really easy as i see...

But check my tag, need only time...
