Cool Tut,
The first tut I actually finished without having big problems xD :D
My outcome isnt that great yet, i get big stripes on the ball,, Im not so good painting with the mouse I think..
It looks not so good, but if you watch it from far, you cant see those details =D
Thanks for making this tut, its good for beginners, cause its just simple :D

[My only lill problem is: I dont know how the eraser works, it doesnt do anything >.<]
Edit: Found it, check ma result :D

I found this tut. through pstutorials.com or something like that and I have to say, this is one of the best looking metal balls I have seen. Everyone else is making shiney orbs and the effect is just not the same... thanks for this one! I can't wait to use it.

Ty nice tut, I made mine into a pearl, :happy4: you don't really have to make it a metal ball
you could alter it to what suits your needs.

Really like it!

How'd ya get the burn so smooth? What size was the ball you did it on? it would be useful to know so that we could tell in relation to the size of the brush your using.

Rad.

Sythest

I use a brush around 200 or 100px.

How can one rip a tutorial thats been done tons of times?

Sythest
11-18-2008, 07:31 AM
who said i ripped it?

superiorgamer
11-18-2008, 04:57 PM
hmms... I thought I replied to this already? Umm no you definatly didn't rip this. I've just seen this tutorial 5 or 6 times but your version is definatly a nice one. What I meant is the concept can't really be "ripped" since its already been done so much but I guess the image could...
anyways, thanks for the tutorial
