Just played again today for the first time in a while (my boyfriend has it, not me, and I haven't been to his house in forever and a day), and it was just as amazing as I remember. Sniper rifles, ftw.

I'm nateyboy360 online... I figured even trying to pass as a superiorgamer on halo 3 would be the biggest joke of my life. I guess i'd be sorta funny though. :) Truth is, i'm not terrible by any means, just don't have the time while in college to devote my life to halo 3 lol.

However, Halo 3 is overated but still an amazing game none the less!

Halo 3 is better than COD4 IMO.... COD4 has no y-axis to the game like halo does.... I mean like jumping and stuff... COD4 is fun, I really liked the single player, but I think you need a lot more skill to get GOOD at Halo...

COD4 & HALO 3 i think are both great online, but i would rather play COD its more real, HALO is a good game but not my type of game.

Let's get this straight....

Call of Duty 4 - A great game, but not as competitive. Why? Nowadays the newer companies of have made not only FPS, but fighting games a lot easier. ie. Super Smash Brothers Brawl. Call of Duty 4 is basically a game where you shoot an enemy and in that time lapse, the player being fired at has little or no time to contest the other shooter, because within a second the person can die. So basically if the person comes up behind you, you're most likely going to die, unless the player is unimaginably unskilled at using the joystick. Realistic as it may be, anyone can come in with little or no experience and most likely obtain kills on people who are more skilled. Given, you may not get MANY kills, but it leaves you with satisfaction therefore you'd play the game more often. This is why this game is successful. Oppose to Halo 3, whereas if you have absolutely no experience, it is unlikely that you'll get even a single kill. The time lapse where an opponent can kill you is much larger therefore giving the more skilled player time to counter. The only time this game gets competitive enough is when you have a team.

Halo 3 - On the other hand, if you never played Halo, or Halo 2, don't buy this game. Halo 3 is a disappointment. From the Halo to the Halo 2 transition the game-play was DRASTICALLY modified. I admit, Halo 3 was ALL hype. But when it went on the shelves, the game play was exactly the same as Halo 2, but with new weapons and REALLY poor maps. You may have heard the acronym, "Halo 2.5" for the game. Sadly, that's what it is. Although it was disappointing, the game play is none the less GREAT. And if you never or rarely played the Halo series, I guarantee you will not like Halo 3 because of the tendency to be poor at the game. Like GoW, Quake 4, only the hardcore players still play.

In conclusion COD 4 is an easier game to play. Gam eplay cannot be compared, because they are absolutely different.
