Crysis vs. Halo 3 vs. Cod 4

although
COD4 is long compared to the game length in Halo3 which is easily the shortest in teh series.
COD4 is more the serious gamer where as Halo3 is more for the omfg i wanna get my gamerscore up and dont mind dying a few hundred times either.

Halo 3 is best IMO, I don't see what's so great about CoD4 competition-wise, I rented the game and both me and my brother were able to beat the campaign and get to the highest ranks in one week (my brother did that thing where you go back to level 1, but I got bored of it). TBH, it required very little skill, you just need to perfect sniping and you'll win pretty much every game (except very small maps, maybe). In halo 3, the campaign wasn't as good as CoD4 (but I played it just for the story) and on multiplayer, I'm stuck at lvl 42... it's so much deeper. You don't notice until you get to lvl 40, but Halo 3 has so much more strategy involved, and if you can get a skilled group of friends playing equally skilled opponents, it is probably best game out there.
