Least Favorite Genres?

I find it interesting to know what kinds of music people least like.
What genre of music do you know you just can't stand?

For me, it would have to be country and music like grindcore/hardcore/metal/etc.
I'm not a huge fan of screaming music, or lyrics you can't understand.

Emo music can be okay, depending on who it is.

Also, it depends on what you consider emo.
I might think something isn't, that you think is.

For example, some people classify My Chemical Romance emo, whereas I do not.

the only style i can't stand would be gangsta rap.
seriously... rap was used to be much more about the lyrics than the music itself. and gangsta rap's lyrics ain't worth shiz. gansta rap artist are just completely off the track if you ask me. i wouldn't even consider their music as being art, most of the time it's just meaningless bullshit. and it's kinda sad you know.. because there is some very good rap artist.

pop music can also be pretty dumb nowadays... pop are much more commercial products than serious pieces of art imo. I'm not saying pop music can't be enjoyed but, you know...

I'm not into country music either... but it's okay to listen country, i respect that.

i also got to say that i have a love/hate relation with dance/techno music.
it's the most craptacular kind of music but i love to dance and i'm kind of stuck with it.

They make their music even if most of us don't like it because their objective is not to be in the billboard or to make tons of money selling albums but to make art whatever the cost.

Lots of good classical stuff out there, you might not enjoy it though. That's why I just posted those two as they are good songs, though it depends on what you consider classical. Some think it's just band/orchestra music, others dissect it into periods (classical, baroque, renaissance, romantic, modern I believe). Both of those are pretty modern pieces.

I enjoy all genres except for country and mainstream rap/hip hop/R&B. And of course pop.
