Joker

Alright, this is going to be pretty long, but it talks about e getting into graphics, me being the big bad one, and all fo that.
I am indeed the big bad Joker you hear about, ripping people off and all of that. But when I did that, I was on so much pain pills I didn't know where I was or who I was for 80% of the time. All I know is what I typed, and I don't remember doing none of that.
When I was 14, in the August of 05, I was told to go to the hospital for a normal routine check up. So we went, they took x-rays of my back, I knew I had socliosis, but they just did it yearly for me. ABout three weeks later, I got home and my mom was crying. She showed me pictures of my back from the year before, and I said 'yea, so why are you cryin?' and she handed me the new ones... My back went from a 9 degree angle to a 54 degree angle in less than a year. So I was basically screwed.
I started sitting at my computer more often than usual, because I was told that's all my life would amount to; a desk job.. .They said no football, no roller coasters, nothing. Just computer work. So I sat here, looking at all different oppurtunities; lawyer, accountant, bank clerk, etc. When I finally looked up one day, and my career hit me in the face. I had seen in hundreds of thousands of times before, but it had dawned on me that one day: I saw the logo for a local courthouse. The background was cool, the text was fancy, it was overall awesome. So I decided to ask my cousins, who had always done graphic designs since as long as I could remember, and they said 'if you really want to start, we will have to come over.'
So I agreed to that, and the next day, they were there. It was Doug and Nick, brothers. They came in, popped in a CD and started installing. 'whoa, this aint going to give me viruses is it?' I was scarred cause I had a 6 gig computer with maybe 256 ram. 'nah, we got it at our house, it's cool.' so they set it up. Right away, I saw Adobe Photoshop 7 sitting on my desktop. I was looking at the eye, which appeared to be peering into my soul. I was amazed. The opened it, and in a matter of minutes, they had collabed to make a really awesome banner, which said 'Good Luck Jake!' on it. So right then and there, I sat down and started tweaking. I was sitting there one day, and my mom called me into her room, and she started talking about ways of fixing my severe scoliosis.
'what it comes down to is this;' she said 'you will definitly have to get surgery. you can get something put into your back, which will make it easier for you, or go for a new kind, which requires nothing but them going in once a month and stretching your spine.'
I decided to go with the one time thing, so we went in, and this is what I had gotten:
2 2' Rods
30 3" Screws
Both went directly into my spine. From that point on, for the next 6 months, I was popping pain pills like it was candy. And at the time, I wasn't Jake no more, I was someone else. This is when I had started ripping people at GR off. But that was over 2 years ago, and I don't rip no more, atleast not here :P But that's my graphic designing life, how I got into it, and what made me start. Who would have known that by some freak accident, I am here today?
