Should it be legal on all the places in the world? Why and Why not?
Would you ever go to a prostitute?

It's legal here in New Zealand, But no I would never ever pay for sex, ever.
I would maybe pay for sex lol but only with some sort of really hot asian chick! It should nt be legal anywere, as it is wrong sex should not be an act it shouldn't be planned.

Although I would never buy one, I believe it should be legal. There's nothing wrong with it, it offers job opportunities and is pleasurable. Although I understand why authorities would be so harsh on it, the spread of STD's.

it should be legal but then it brings a great responsibility with the gouverment to avoid abuse and human-trade.
I don't think I would ever go to a prostitute, maybe if I'm realy realy realy desperate, but no.. I don't think so.
note: its the oldest proffesion of humanity btw. Serious.

The underlines part is precisely why I say it should be illegal, as well as the fact that it spreads STD's very easily. It's morally wrong to sell your body for sex. I'd never get a prostitute.

morals depend from man to man.
its not selling your body, its like a massage but much more intime. (dunno how to spell the last word)
some women don't even do it for the money. If it is what you like to do then do it.
its managable if there are strikt rules etc etc..

It should be illegal.
It spreads STDs. That's my reasoning.

sorry for my ignorance but what are STDs ? Aids ? Or what ?

STD's are any sexually transmitted diseases. Such as HIV (which develops into AIDS), syphilis, gonorrhea, herpes, hepatitis, and many more.
Agreed though. My main problem with it is it spreads STD's very much. Protection, or not, you can still spread diseases, and this is the perfect way, if someone were to legalize it, to spread them world wide on a severe scale. >.<

there are 1000s of men/women also interested in 1-night-stands.. should that be forbidden too then?
If there are strikt regulations and heavy punichments if they break them..

They made it legal in NZ a few years ago and you didn't even notice the change. A few extra brothels popped up and that was it, it's not like since they legalized it, there's hookers on every corner.
And in order to get a job at a brothel you have to be tested for STD's on a regular basis.

One night stands isn't particularly illegal. You're not selling off a body in a way, even if it's at someone's will. That particular thing can swing either way depending on the person. It's a complicated subject to go into detail, but I oppose prostitution and one night stands.

Whats the hell is wrong with one night stands? You meet a girl at the club, take her home, get busy and part ways. Ain't nothing wrong with it

Maybe to you, but to me, yes. It's ridiculous. If all you want is sex or something, good for you, but to us who like the long-term real relationships, we don't always agree with that crap. Everyone has their own opinion. Yours is you think there's nothing wrong with them, mine is the opposite.

I guess im against it but only because when you allow prostitution you open up many
negative possibilities. There really is a love hate relationship when you get down to what sex really is some ppl like sex and thats it, but others enjoy the darker side like people that go out get a hooker and then later the body washes up on some shore. I also think that this leads to slave trade and underground prostitution rings. Young girls being kidnapped from their families and forced to have sex with any one willing to pay enough. I believe that it is only illegal in man places is because its hard to tax something like that, I mean you can always have sex get paid for it and claim that it was with someone you loved and it wasn't prostitution. The government doesn't like anything that they cant make money off of.

I think it should be legal since it's easier for a government to control it that way since they know what's going on and who's legal doing it and who's not :)
And isn't it so that they always use condoms?
i personally wouldn't go a prostitute very easily i really want to do it some time just to experience how it is :)
It is also said that 1/3rd of all men ever went to a prostitute
status.

i dont see why it shouldn't be legal, anyway i have no intentions of paying for a prostitute.
Obviously if it was legalized there would be health insurance provided to the "workers" and laws against a sort of property trading of the women. Protection laws would exist to protect not only the women, but the people purchasing the service from STDs. The industry would also be taxed, creating billions of dollars. If the American really wants to lower our national debt, they should legalize prostitution.

In the Netherlands some disabled people get every month like 200 euro's from there insurance to have sex since it's a basic thing you need for a decent living :)

It was on the telly, i also thought like okay,...
But when i thought about it for a while, when i would become disabled and my girlfriend would split it would become so hard to get a new gf and sex. That i think it is reasonable to get then paid to have sex. It's really necassery especially when you know what's it like. It's something that gives a certain feeling that masturbation can't give because it's with another person. Some person to person feeling.

I think it should be legal, if someone is really so low on their self esteem that they would sell sex for money, let them. I think they should be required to be taxed for their work, and have to take weekly STD checks. Personally, I wouldn't go to a prostitute, but I might hire one or two as a joke for a mate.
