i use brushes alot of times for all sort of stuff, clipping masks, splatter, effects and more, but pentool is better.

but then again i also whore C4D, im currently learning to make my own though, so if any nub starts whinning i can tell him i make em.

seeing sigs with C4D i dont think, lol omg he sucksors, for C4D to look good you also have to know composition, and some times colours.

Well we all have our own styles I believe, I've tried lots, I don't use brushes that much anymore, nor do I use C4Ds for much more than an effect. Though occasionally I do use one as the foundation of my background.........................but that guy sounds like a total nub. XDDD

Ye, Create your own style...Make your own brushes for a single piece or make your own C4d for a certain tag + Play around with filters especially displacement has loads of effects locked away in it!

You can't really over use it!!! Due to the fact that the quality of the image or the .psd used has different texture placements which can be varied with the use of multiple applications of the current source

Brushes suck ass. C4ds are really usefull...especially solid c4ds...effect c4ds are good but id rather use solid ones.

For people who think brushes(downloadable ones) are good to use then they are pretty retarted.

Now if you use faults then thats good, its quite difficult.

I think brushes have there place if they are used correctly. That being said, the only brushes I really use are a set of tech brushes (that I adore), brushes I've made myself and a set of smudge brushes (that I simply don't think I could live without).

It's not the tools, it's how you use them. :)
