Help with illy

I need help with illy...I have a great idea and I am with 5% done...reason I am making this thread is cos I dont know how to color in illy...Can anyone explain me or direct me to a tut...So far :

You first have to make sure you close your lines so that they all join together, and the swatches box is visible. Then you simply click on your shape you want to fill, and then click on a colour in swatches. Easy.
