Making a Living

I'm 18, I'd love to be a Web Designer/Developer for a living.
Is this possible, like at all to accomplish?

I can do everything you guys mentioned besides Actionscript 3.0.
What is that needed for, like mainly?

I work with Dreamweaver CS3 coding html, php, css.
I know the program pretty much anyne can do it.
I work a lot with Photoshop CS2, but not really with Flash at all.

I dunno, if I told you guys what I wanted to do with my life you'd think I was crazy. :P!

Also add Illustrator to that.

Best vector program if you want to create Logo's and stuff.

Next to knowing these programs you will also need talent. Sure you will develop when you take classes, but if you miss talent you won't get far.

(btw I'm not trying to scare you off, its just that this whole world of designing is full of great artists but also full of people who just copy 'the books', the real money makers are the talented ones :) )

I know of such a copier and he makes several hundred dollars per cms

Go study ICT & media design. a study for website's, logo's, marketing media.. ,etc..

Web Design
Programmer
GFX Artist/Engineer
Software engineering

Quite accurate for a kid my age [13] also, when i leave school i'm planning on going straight to colledge and doing a VB Programming course... so so accurate :P

yeah good to learn scripts
coding etc

get familiar with programs like photoshop
cinema 4d
dreamweaver/notepad
autoscript
etc etc

and just get experienced in these fields :]

it's possible.... but you need to know maybe illustrator or at least a few other programs.... not necessarily coding... but something else too
