2 MAJOR Problems

Ok i need help with these 2 problems
NOTE IN BOTH CASES I DIDNT HAVE A FIREWALL ON
SO ON STUFF ABOUT FIREWALLS PLZ

Problem 1:
When i log on to MSN i am limited to speak with only a few people
If i try to speak to people other than a few, i just disconnect.
The SPLIT second i talk to som1 i disconnect.....
This happens 50% of the time (And i cant just Log Off then go back on to fix it)
Any1 no what the issue is with this?

Problem 2:
When i try uploading something, ANYTHING except for a picture
So when i upload something bigger than a picture/sig or w/e
It gets to about 25% and then my whole Internet laggs up
and it wont work until i Log Off/Restart/Shut Down my computer.
This only happens when i am uploading something, yet on my
Dad/Sister's Computers it is fine
Help plz

both problems sound like a virus, spyware or malware problem try using ad-aware se personal to try and fix it if that doesnt work all i can think of is formatting and installing xp or whatever OS you have again or it could be a network connection problem like with the router or something but it sounds more like a virus or spyware problem to me

Thats wat i was afraid of, im try scanning it and
so forth and let ya know if there are any changes

sounds like a bad connection, go reset your router see if that works, or is this a persisting problem? like did it just start happening like today? if not then its a virus

The Uploading only started happening today
The MSN problem started like 2 weeks ago

Oh and how do i restart my router?

on your internet browser you should be able to connect to the ip of your router if you do it will be there somewhere

to restart your router just go turn it off and then turn it back on, or you can hit the reset button :P
