I use it all the time. but it's not really for gfx. it's more to make pdf and stuff with lots of text. imo, it's much better than word or anything like open office

Yeah, I never used it before, but we have it at school. Lol. No one ever uses it, so I don't know why the school even has it, but oh well.

A Format includes the text, fonts, images, and 2-D vector images.

It's used a lot for forms and paper work that you need to print from home.

yeah but it's going a lot further a good example of stuff made in InDesign would be magazine and stuff like that, with loads of image.
