My brother isn't really a fan of games but for some reason he decided to buy Fable around a month ago. He really got into it and if he gets into a game, unless its a sports game :P, I know its good. We both beat the game and were really dissappointed that it was such a short game. Yeah there are side quests and things of that nature but it didn't live up to my expectations. Well my brother liked the original Fable so much he bought Fable: The Lost Chapters. I don't know if I really want to start from the beginning again only to have a little bit extra at the end. Don't get me wrong, I think this game was great but is worth it to start all over again?

Anyways, has anyone else here played Fable before? If so, do you have any comments?

i played both first when the first fable came out finished it in 2 days about was amazing.

when ui heared they where brining out a extra version with more stuff i was real excited but anaoyed i had to start from the bigining.

the extra featers at the end are well worth buying it there is actually quite a bit of storyline after the end of the original fable.

also i can't wait for fable 2 to come out for the 360 it is going to be amazing you have a dog and it changes a long with you.

I played Fable: the lost chapters
I liked it very much, though it was way too short.

One thing that I thought was cool but should have been expanded was the arena. You could only battle in it once unless you did a certain trick. The trick was to hero save, before the game auto-saves, after you got all the way through the arena and then start the game up from the hero save. The game would think that you hadn't done the arena yet but you would still have all of the experience from it. If you could perhaps leave the arena and come back and do the challenges at a later time too, that would be awesome.

I think my brother is pretty close to finishing it already. We got it in the mail only a few days ago.

I played Fable and like other here thought it was a Really Easy game that was over Too fast

However i found as i was playing that Leveling with General Exp was the easyest way to go...

All i did was go to this cave thing with little orc/troll looking things in it then walked into another charmber (near the Pixie or whatever she was) and just Kept in that area.... for like 30 mins and MAXED all my skills after the first 10 ish mineuts i had a 120x Exp Multiplier and from there i was just grinding on the little guys, (who normally drop like 30 exp ea. with 30x guys there so take that exp 30x30x120=108000 General exp points... seriously pwnt)

after that the game was pointless

yea that just ruins the game :P

i did something like that but near the part where you vs jack the first time, 250 combat multiplyer :P

anyway, lost chapters is quite a bit longer then fable, but overall it was still pretty short, i found that there wasn't enough to do :/ i guess im used to oblivion :P

Yep i played both the original and the lost chapters and they were both wicked fun. Wayyy too short tho. Even the lost chapters was pretty short. I only got like 15 hours out of it. But Oblivion...now thats a game. Wow my friend has 80 hours on it and he says hes not even close to being done. Thats crazy.

Man, it's no fair... I own the entire fable world and I have the best weapons also my renown is insanly high and i have killed over 500000 monsters... I don't know what to do anymore in that game...

I can't wait for Fable 2 to come out, 'cause when that does i'll be able to spent my time playing video games again with exicetment.
