Ok so people were posting their life stories, so i thought, ah what the heck, i'll post mine too!
So here we go.
I was born in this small town in eastern Netherlands called Doesburg. I still live there today :)
My mom worked in kindergarten back then and I was happy with that, because i didn't have to miss my mom when i was there... My father works at the provincial archives, that's where they dump all old shizzle when they don't need it anymore, but it's only paperwork.
I have 2 brothers, 1 is 2 years older and the other 4 years older than me. I get along with them pretty well, although it hasn't been this way from the start.
Anyway, I had a pretty good youth, in elementary school i had some friends, we played hide and seek. You know, the usual. My teachers were all OK except for 1 but I only had her for 1 year... I loved the school I went, it was and still is the best school in this village, could be because it's so small... I was in a class with 19 people or so. Everyone knew each other and got along well. I was never really bullied, even tho I had my glasses since the age of 5 and i wasn't (and still am) the prettiest boy in class...
So my parents were ok at that age, we went for holiday 2 or 3 weeks every year, usually not that far, like 6 hours by car or so. My brothers used to tease me with the little things, like we had a hamster and I played with it and put my finger in my mouth afterwards and my brothers used to tell me i will die within a few days... I didn't like it because i believed it at the age of 5 or 6.
Same in the bath, i sprayed some water on the ceiling (dunno how but i did) and my brothers told me that now the ceiling will fall down and crush us all...
When i was like 11 years old i got my first braces. Those horiible outside things you have to pull over your head... Luckily i only had to wear it at night. 1 year later i got the block braces, i was still in elementary back then. I was the first in high school to loose my bracers at the age of 14 i think.
Moving on to high school. I got a great time there, it took some getting used to, since i came from a school with barely 100 pupils. High school had over 1000... All my friends from elementary went to other schools and so i had no friends at the beginning.
Soon i made some friends but also some enemies, most people accepted me, but some just couldn't stand the fact that i was half German... Yes yes, laugh, i'm half German.
One girl kept saying, "Laufen!" when I passed, she seemed to think it was funny, I just ignored her, as did the rest of my classmates... After about 1 month I made some good friends and i was happy. Some of my classmates were just as much of a computer freak as i was. It was that period where i started my first sigdesigning and web designing. It was also the year where i got my first addiction... Runescape. We used to talk about it 24/7 it was horrible! Can you imagine, 5 13 year olds talking about runescape all day..?
From that year on my parents weren't so relaxed anymore, they turned from relaxed to stressed, because my brother messed up in school and my other brother was going the same way (altho he managed to finish high school ok).
Year 3 in high school (age 15) was my worst year i ever had. I felt bad all day, sometimes all week. I was tired, didn't feel like going to school, nor doing my homework. I used to cry about all the little things... Fights with my parents, brothers, friends. I was sort of depressed. All i had were my best friends and some toys... My blood was checked for diseases (you know that make you tired and such) but nothing was found. It turned out, i was overworked or something. I decided at the end of the year to set a step back and try high school 1 level lower (It's a bit different here in holland) so it would be easier for me. That was the best decision i made in my life.
The next 2 years went by as if it were 2 months, I made friends quick in my new class and everyone liked me it seemed. Nothing special really happened then except for my final exams 2 weeks ago. I get the results next week, until then my parents will be stressing me out with their own stress... I can take it, they can't...
