I took "Art" in 8th grade, but all it was was grid drawings. Waste of an hour a day for like half a year. So I voted No, because I dont think it even qualifies.
Next year Im going to take art. Im hoping it will be better.

Yes, i am currently taking art classes in my school and i am enjoying the experience, knowing about photoshop does actually help you when it comes to paintings. I love art, as do i love digital art. Art is great!!! :)

The art teachers I've had are crazy. Heck, last year, I passed the class and I didn't do a single thing at all. I mean NOTHING. Thats how organized she was.
Even tho my fellow peers wern't exactly helping out in that aspect

Yeh, Ive taken GCSE Art. Tbh, not really sure I should've, not because I dont like art or Im no good at it, just because everything has rules and restrictions, and during marking, its all down to one guy (the teacher) and in my and many other peoples' opinions, there is a lot of mixed up marking going on.
Overall, just not too sure how much I'll get out of it :/

I don't understand what do you mean by marking?

You know, for school or whatever? Getting a grade? Not sure what 'level' of art class were talking about, but schoolwork and projects get marked, and given grades (A*, A, B, C, D, E, F)

oh. marking is grades. XD we just call it grades or grading. XD
and is A* like A+?
I seriously don't like it when people grade art....

Yeh, just doesnt seem right, cause everyone is gonna have different opinions.
And yeh, A* is most likey equivalent to A+

I mean seriously it's art. There's Picasso and then there's monet. Michaelangelo and then there's DaVinci. All completely different forms of art.

And then there is PinkElephant with not so kikass gfx :P
But yea I am taking some right now and to get it graded may sometimes be negociable, lets say the teacher tells you to draw a man standing on the street and you draw a square, I think it is easily gradeable this way...
i dont draw,i cant draw, wont ever take art

I took Computer Graphics. I thought it was going to be straight-on photoshop, but we ended up using it last, and only for a few weeks <_< But the advantage was that I know basic photoshop and didn't need to learn completely by myself. The disadvantage was that there's a part 2 which focuses on photoshop, but i'm not going there next school year >_______>

Well, I am currently undergoing a short and basic 3D modelling and animation with Maya course. That's the closest thing to "art classes" for me I guess. Had art classes in school when I was younger though. ;)

Right now I'm taking computer graphics at school which is sweet. We finished doing this awsome project were we would find a photo of a person [black and white or color], and then trace over the picture on a new layer using differnet brushes and sizes. myn came out awsome so I should post it some time.
Gee, in our school its available free of charge, im forced to do so anyway :P I am an Art Club Leader too :P I don't know whats coming into the teacher's mind to choose me anyway :P
