PSDs

Well as you know, my computer is fried and nothing can be done to fix it. I lost all of my PSDs... how do you guys deal with losing your psds?

Be pissed off for a couple of days then get over it and start again x.x

That why I only have folders for june & july now, rather than the 1GB I had before <_<

Edit: As for other people's LR psd's just... start a new collection x.x and try to find the ones I had before. :P

i had to make a whole new collection. or u could have put them on a thumb drive or cd like i told u :)

can you go in and recover the files? you know thats possible, i think.........never done it though and i dont think its worth all the trouble for some .psd's, that just sucks bro sorry to hear that

Thats why I always upload my PSDs to the internet. I can always go back and get the ones I need.

well when was the last time you installed some sfotware? because windows would have automatically created a recovery point and you will make able to recover your pc to that time.

I always back up all my psd's on cd-roms and on my external Harddisk :)

i also have to do this for school since i am working on my portofolio etc.. :)

yeh, well i have recently read that to do graphic design. advertising in university i have to take a portfolio to the interview. this is a couple of years away, however i wish to start a very large portfolio now and to pick the best at the end of it :).

Today was my last day of work experience. I was saying bye to the managers and graphic designers and the head graphic designers and the manager called me over to say that they wanted a word. they offered me a job in the summer holidays because they liked my work and style. This will also really help me and i do now think that this is what i want to do in my career :)

Im going to do my best to improve my gfx as much as i can i think. Maybe try to get a few lessons of some of you better gfx artists or w.e :)

When I start my computer, 5 seconds later a black screen says my hard drive is damaged. There are 5 choices pm how to start windows. Everyone of them restarts my computer.
