That doesn't really explain a lot for people who don't know.
i know.. i have never understood that cycle..never has been explained to me xD.. is it opposites which go well together or opposites which dont go well with each other?
opposites go well together, im not sure but that color wheel doesn't seem right :/

Sameer, your colour thing confuses me :P even with the explanation.
I always used to use this website, for colour things.

It's really helpful. :) Just click on create, and then it'll help by letting you make different colour schemes. :)

Black, blue sometimes go along with red.
blue is a contrasting color. it doesnt go well with red.
you could try analogous colors like orange and yellow or purple and orange.
or you could go with the complementary/split complementary colors which would be green, green and yellow, green and purple, or green and orange.

I would say black. Maybe for a little contrast with a bit blue.

you can get contrast without using colors that dont look aesthetically pleasing together. =/
red is a warm color, blue is a cool color.

according to the color wheel it would be red blue and yellow for your base colors but unless your going for a rainbow effect i wouldnt choose thoughs maybe a little white and some black maybe but red is a hard color to work with imo
white and maybe gray and then base colors
