I'd say 360 for now, because it's got the best game selection and the graphics are good, though the wii is fun to play. Btw, this belongs in the gaming sub forum.

id say xbox atm because of its online functions

but the time for the wii will come with online games such as

battalion wars 2, guitar hero 3, metroid prime 3 and (hopefully) smash bros brawl.

Smash bros will have online play.

but overall the wii isn't for the hardcore gamer, it's more for the casual gamer. So more gamers are gonna go for the 360 or PS3

thats not how it being advertised, but if you pay attention the line up of current and upcoming games is/will be pretty sick.
Resident Evil 4
Call of Duty 3/4
Metroid Prime 3

and so on. no, theres not halo, but i think halo is overrated anyways. its good, but not up to the hype.
P.S. brawl is that kind of game that is hardcore without being hardcore. seriously, online will be kickass.

so your determining the generation of a system by its graphics? theres alot more to it than that.

Of course there is but I don't want to play on a next generation control set up with last generation graphics. The two don't mix very well.

Besides, you'd think that the Wii would at least have had vanilla Xbox graphics.
