On my mac I was inable to use Word because I had downloaded fonts for my sigs, and Word could cooperate with that, I just got a windows desktop, does anyone know if I"ll still have issues with Word and fonts?
Also, where do I extract fonts?
i know how to extract fonts, extract them into ur fontbook on the mac.

He was asking about windows?
Anyway, the way I do it is:
1. Extract the fonts to any folder
2. Open the folder, and select all fonts
3. Choose "copy" in the side panel
4. Find the "Fonts" folder, in the windows folder
5. Press okay, and then a "installing" window pops up
People might do it a different way though.
oh sorry thought u was talking about mac.
for windows u can find the font folder in.
start > control panel > fonts
just drag the fonts in there, but make sure u extract the fronts, so dont just put the .rar folder in the fotn folder otherwise it wudnt work.

DaFont.com it is :D
And you use Microsoft word right?
It might of been becoz u tried to download TT (True Type) fonts in ur mac, which is only a valid file for windows.
mac fonts shud have .ttf as there file name.

If you're using dafont.com, then you shouldn't be having trouble with the file type, since most/all of them are for Macs as well... :\
